DESCRIPTION:The Program is designed for Art Students who have demonstrated 
 skills\, focus\, and maturity beyond an intermediate level. Our students a
 re typically\, but not always\, in their upper-middle or high school years
 . They are interested in developing\, building\, or expanding their portfo
 lio in a professional art studio's creative and encouraging environment.\n
 \nThis program is focused on fundamental aspects of visual art such as com
 position\, proportions\, perspectives\, volume\, and color theory. Gypsum 
 casts and still-life compositions will be used for drawing and painting fr
 om the observation. Painting with acrylic watercolor and oil\; printmaking
  with ink and drawing with charcoal. Clay modeling will be used to enrich 
 our student’s art experience.\n\nThis course requires a portfolio review
  for new students. If you would like to register your young Artist\, pleas
 e email us at art@monroesstreetstudio.com. Please include your child’s n
