This Program is designed for Art Students who have demonstrated skills, focus, and maturity beyond an intermediate level.
We help our young artists focus on fundamental aspects of visual art such as composition, proportions, perspectives, volume, and color theory. Gypsum casts and still-life compositions will be used for drawing and painting from observation. Our students will be practicing painting with acrylic, watercolor, and oil. Printmaking with ink and drawing with charcoal. Also, clay modeling will be used to enrich student’s art experience.
This course requires a portfolio review for new students. If you would like to register your young Artist, please email us at art@monroesstreetstudio.com. Please include your child’s name and up to six samples of their artwork.
