The program is designed for home-schooled students who can come to class during weekday mornings. Beginner and intermediate students will work on a variety of art projects such as painting with acrylic on canvas, watercolor, oil pastel, or dry pastel. Drawing with charcoal, pencils, pens, ink or markers. Clay sculpting projects are included in every session. Topics such as composition, perspective and volume are addressed at the appropriate levels for students in this mixed-ability-level class. Small class sizes ensure personal attention from the Art Teacher and focus on supporting individual skill and knowledge building. Each session throughout the academic year has a different theme, so students will have fresh experiences and build upon their skills each time they enroll. Students will have an opportunity to exhibit their artworks at the end of the school year during our Annual Students Art Works Exhibition.
