With their re-purposed fabric choices, students of all skills levels will practice essential hand stitches, safe sewing machine operation, seam awareness, steam pressing, marking and cutting fabric with a rotary cutter & shears, basic measuring for drafting simple shapes, working with patterns and templates, construction planning, finishing techniques.
Students will collaborate on ideas with each other and receive personal attention from the instructor in our Summer Workshop. Students should bring a packed lunch and drink.
