Sewing Class for Pre-Teens

Students in this class (ages 10-12) practice hand sewing with a bit of straight-stitch machine sewing while creating fun and useful projects that build their confidence in the craft. Lessons will include basic hand stitches for seaming and embroidery, marking & cutting fabric, working with patterns & templates, pinning & construction, steam iron pressing and safe operation, and sewing machine anatomy & safe operation. Small class sizes ensure personal attention from Sewing Teacher Najah Carroll and focus on supporting individual skill and knowledge building.
