Sewing for Beginners: Teenagers (13+) and Adults – Winter
Dates: Wednesdays, from 2/02/2022 – 2/23/2022
Time: 6:30-8:00 pm
Tuition: $180
In this course, we will learn the following:
- Machine anatomy, learning how to correctly use all parts of the sewing machine
- Threading the machine
- Changing the feet and needles
- Adjusting and fine-tuning your machine for different projects
- Purposes of different types of stitches
- Types of fabrics and how to handle each
- Sewing fabrics together
- Quilting blocks and quilting techniques (e.g. “sew as you go”)
- Batting and backing a quilt
All materials and tools will be provided.
