Create with Clay: Coil Pottery & Glazing Workshop
Create your own handcrafted ceramic piece in this fun two-part clay workshop! Perfect for beginners and clay lovers alike, this workshop will guide you through the creative process of building and glazing your own unique coil pottery creation.
July 17th (First 2-hour session):
Learn the fundamentals of coil pottery and hand-building techniques as you roll, shape, stack, and blend clay coils to create a bowl, vessel, planter, sculpture, or decorative piece. After the session, your artwork will be carefully dried and kiln-fired.
August 21st (Second 1.5-hour session):
Return to glaze and personalize your ceramic creation using a variety of beautiful glaze colors and finishing techniques. Your piece will then be fired a second time and prepared for pickup.
All materials, tools, glaze, and two kiln firings are included.
Guests 21+ are welcome to bring their own wine or beer to enjoy during the workshop. Monroe Street Studio does not sell or provide alcohol.

• Friday, July 17th | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Clay Building Session)
• Friday, August 21st | 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM (Glazing Session)
• Finished artwork will be ready for pickup after the final firing. All participants will be notified.
