Monroe Street Studio offers an exciting course for children who are happy to dip their hands in clay to create fun projects like sculptures or pottery. Campers will learn about the entire process of hand-built pottery making, including modeling, glazing, and firing. They will also glaze a pre-made bisque and take home finished shiny masterpiece fired in a kiln.
Please notice, that clay artwork needs to stay at the studio for up to 3 weeks until it is fully dried and fired. Pickup-up dates will be announced during the workshop
The artwork can be finished at home by painting with acrylic and sealing with lacquer for a shiny finish.
Students should bring a packed lunch and drink each day. A light snack will be provided.
👉 Please have your child wear comfortable clothes that can get messy, as we will be working with paint and clay.
