Looking for a fun and creative way for your child to spend a School Holiday/Teacher Workday?
Join us for our All Around the Studio One-Day Camp — a hands-on art experience packed with imagination, learning, and messy fun! Campers will rotate through a variety of exciting art activities, each offering a different type of project to spark their creativity.
No experience needed – just curiosity and creativity!
Camp Highlights:
- Clay modeling & hand-built pottery
- Acrylic painting on canvas, watercolor & oil pastel painting
- Drawing with charcoal, pencils, ink pens & more
- Mosaic art
- Seasonal crafts
- Creating art using recycled materials
- Hand sewing, crocheting, knitting

Stained Glass Open Studio
Open Studio allows access to the stained glass studio during open studio hours as, as long as no special workshops are running that day.
Open Studio is unavailable during the summer.
Eligibility: Completion of our Beginner Stained Glass class or sufficient experience working independently in a glass studio. We also offer a one-hour orientation to refresh your skills and knowledge about techniques for $60. Once purchased, our team will contact you to schedule your orientation. Private classes are also available on request.
Pricing:
- $20 per hour
- $200 for 10 hours (valid for 3 months)
- $70 – Saturday pass
- $60 – a one-hour orientation
Times Offered:
- Monday: 10:00 am – noon; 5:00 pm – 8:30 pm
- Tuesday: 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
- Wednesday: 10:00 am – noon
- Thursday: 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm
- Saturdays: 9:30 am – 1:30 pm
- Studio is closed during Fairfax County Public Schools breaks
Tools are Provided:Grinders, glass cutters, pliers, homasote boards, soldering irons, safety goggles, apron, flux, and scrap glass.
Materials are NOT provided:Glass sheets, foil, solder, chain, jump rings, frames, patina. Some materials are available for purchase on-site.
Safety & Courtesy: You must always wear safety goggles and close-toed shoes. Be mindful of others — ask before playing music.
Storage: Short-term storage provided while working. Projects left untouched for 1 month will be recycled if not claimed.
Scheduling and Arrival: Please text 240-885-9040 a day before to book your visit. Sign in and out at the front desk so we know you are on-site or left the studio. This is for insurance and safety purposes.
