Get your hands dirty and your creativity flowing in this beginner-friendly hand-built pottery class for adults. Designed for all skill levels, this class focuses on three foundational techniques of hand-building with clay: pinching, coiling, and slab construction.
Over the course of the class, you’ll learn how to use these techniques to create both functional and decorative ceramic pieces—such as mugs, bowls, trays, and sculptural forms. Instruction will cover building forms, adding texture, surface decoration, and glazing.
This relaxed, small-group setting is perfect for those looking to unwind, explore their artistic side, and connect with others in a creative environment. All materials, tools, and kiln firings are included. No pottery wheel required—just bring your imagination!
Whether you’re completely new to clay or returning to the craft, this class offers a fun, supportive introduction to the art of hand-built ceramics.
